A non-judgemental, educational, online community where men can learn and talk openly about anything – and feel completely comfortable about doing so.

As men who have experienced (and continue to experience) mental health problems, we’ve had our fair share of conversations surrounding the topic here at MESOA. Conversations with each other. Conversations with family and friends. Conversations with doctors and medical professionals.

It’s Never Too Late

It’s Never Too Late

It probably looked like something out of a movie. [A man lays on a hotel bed – visibly broken – with a fistful of strong painkillers in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other. The only distraction from his dark thoughts is the silent TV flickering in the corner of the room. He’s already been drinking all day, trying to work out how to get out of the hole he’s found himself in — but now he’s considering adding the drugs to the mixture and making the move a permanent one.

High-school dropout. Soldier. Father. Salesman. CEO. Entrepreneur. Founder of MESOA. It’s fair to say that, over the course of my lifetime, I have been – and continue to be – many different things, to many different people.

We started MESOA for a reason: your peace of mind.

As a proud, male grooming brand, we not only want to change the way men groom for the better but the way they live for the better too. That’s why a percentage of our profits go to male suicide charities.

We want to normalise conversations about men’s mental health, encouraging men to open up and speak to one another.

Talking about our feelings and how we feel on the inside is just as important, if not more so, than how we look on the outside.

We’ve come a long way in recent years but there’s still so much more to be done. Cavemen were happy simply splashing water on their faces, and all your grandad’s grooming was done with one bar of soap.

Likewise, a stiff upper lip and an unwillingness to open up was the order of the day back then.

Times have changed.

From fitness to food; financial wealth to mental health; beard oils to moisturisers, we want to create a community where you, and men just like you, can share your thoughts, feelings and experiences.

This is your chance to share your story with others; whether it’s a story of recovery or simply how you’re feeling right now we’d love for you to contribute to the MESOA Community.

We ask for nothing in return (you don’t even have to buy our great products, though we’d love it if you did!); simply upload your story here and include images or a video of your choice
